In blackjack, practicing and training in the best possible ways from available software and sites will be the key towards developing future good blackjack players. While there are a lot of sites that offer free games where there is no actual money involved, sites such as Hit or Stand will provide various tutorials and tips to help improve player strategies. Through the technology of flash developed interactive programs, visitors can try their hand in the game and even get tips on how to further improve their blackjack decision making and skills.

Technically, players who visit the site may find their strategies unorthodox and it would not be surprising if the trial program at Hit or Stand may not totally agree with the entire manner of play. While they are not required to be always leaned on, the fact that people can have an idea of what approach they may possibly be doing wrong is something that they should take into consideration if and when they do play the game in actual blackjack games.

No one can tell a player what to do. All that a blackjack enthusiast can do is look at the possibilities and the rest would be up to him. In most cases, they would not immediately adapt the learned strategies. People will still vouch for their own style and slowly integrate their new found style from thereon. The implementation of new approaches and strategies in card games is not easy. They need careful deliberation and getting used to as well. It is not an overnight success to which anyone can immediately experience enhanced improvement from them.

Taking their time and practicing in depth with the free games using supposed dummy bets which take the place of actual bets in real games will provide a better overview. In the Hit and Stand Trainer, decisions and moves made will have tips as well. Tips on potential risky moves that may force a player to bust against the dealer will be shown. This is the best way to analyze the approach towards the game. A card for a card shown will be something that limits the areas that need to be addressed in such situations.

Blackjack players are not expected to adjust their approach based on the trainer’s advice. For sure, the mental attitude of seasoned blackjack players that they still know the best moves can never be taken out of them. But as for the Hit and Stand Trainer module, they are simply there to help beginners and people who seek improvements to their game. It is not a module where blackjack players need to listen to. They are entirely flexible and open.

It is only normal for people to have superstitious beliefs with regards to how they approach their games and blackjack is not spared from this. Things like where they are seated in the table, their approach towards the dealer and even the deck used are among the notable things that come into play when people play the game. On whether these things have a bearing on the whole issue is something beyond a player’s ability to win. But no one can stop them from doing what they want, especially if they believe that these are important aspects in their game.

One of the common blackjack myths is that of the use of new decks in a session. Unlike old decks, the arrangement of the cards have been so used up that chances are their chronological order has been messed up. Hence, it may not necessarily follow that the hits that they get upon dealt cards would be consistent. People have this knack that disembarking cards from their original order would usually provide better chances and such would be something that be to their advantage.

There are many myths in blackjack but regardless, it all depends on the approach of players and the degree to which they hooked on to the game. There are a lot of online gambling games that people can play and each would have their own variant for sure. However, the use of cards is something that carries on to most of them, especially to the ones who supposedly keep track and all. Myths or superstitious approaches are only common. These practices are what player believes in and no one can interfere with them for as long as they believe they have something to do with the actual game in tow.

So one has to ask, does the change of the deck of cards truly have a bearing on the entire scenario. Many would give a loud yes while other would care less. Either way, people will believe in what they want to and no one else can do anything about it. Blackjack may sound like a simple game compared to the other gambling games. But it is more than just that. Online gambling will always need all the assists in can get. And in this case, believing in the blackjack myths just so happens to be one of them. The players will take them any time.

Vegas Strip Blackjack - Like in Vegas Downtown Blackjack you can play the Single-Hand or the Multi-hand version of the game. However, the strategy for this game is again different if only because four deck of cards are used. The outcome for each number of hands you choose to use is affected by the fewer number of decks used.

Rules:

Vegas Strip is an American Hole Card Game

Dealer peeks on 10 and Ace Cards

Played with 4 regular decks

Double down on any two cards

Double down after split

Split 3 times to make 4 hands

Aces can only be split once

Only one card to split Aces

A Split Ace and a 10 is 21 and not BJ

Unlike 10 value cards can be split

Spanish 21 Blackjack - Also offered by Global Player Casino, this game is very unique and exciting. The Spanish deck is a deck with only 48 cards instead of the usual 52 (All 10s are removed). The deck used is not the only thing that makes this game unique but the rules as well so make sure you understand the rules listed below before playing the game. You would also do well to peek at the basic strategy posted in Spin Palace’s website since the strategy for Spanish is also very different from that of other blackjack games.

Rules:

Spanish 21 is an American Hole Card Game

Dealer peeks on 10 and Ace Cards

Played with 8 Spanish decks of cards.

Dealer must hit on soft 17

Player BJ Beats Dealer BJ

Player 21 Beats Dealer 21

Late Surrender

Double down on any number of cards

Re-Double down once

Surrender after doubling down

Double down after split

Split 3 times to make 4 hands

Aces can be re-split

Draw and double down to split Aces

Unlike 10 value cards can be split

Payoffs:

5 card 21 pays 3:2

6 card 21 pays 2:1

7 or more card 21 pays 3:1

6-7-8 or 7-7-7 mixed suit pays 3:2

6-7-8 or 7-7-7 of same suit pays 2:1

6-7-8 or 7-7-7 of spades pays 3:1

Suited 7-7-7 when dealer has 7 face up pays 50:1

Double Exposure Blackjack - A game that’s the same as the basic blackjack game except for a very nice twist - dealer’s hands are dealt face up.
Rules:

Both Dealers Cards are dealt Face Up

Played with 8 regular decks

Dealer must hit on soft 17

Dealer wins all ties except for tied BJ

Player BJ pays even money

Double down after split

Split 3 times to make 4 hands

Aces can be re-split

Spin Palace Casino says that Blackjack is probably the only game where you can beat the house, and this is true. If you want to know more about blackjack (not just the games that Spin Palace Casino has, but blackjack in general) then Spin Palace Casino will give you an introduction, a history of the game, the basic rules of the game, strategy tables, and of course the specific rules for each game they offer. If you are looking for a wide variety of Blackjack games Spin Palace Casino is the online casino to go since it has ALL major blackjack variants available.

Below are the blackjack games available at Spin Palace Casino called their Gold Series. Note that all information about the games were lifted from their website.

Vegas Downtown Blackjack - Available in two versions: Single-Hand Vegas Downtown Blackjack and Multi-Hand Vegas Downtown Blackjack. They share the same basic rules and differ only in the number of hands you can play. However, even if that is the only rule that differs the strategy is very different and depends on the number of hands you choose to play.

Rules:

This is an American Hole Card Game

Dealer peeks on 10 value cards and aces

Played with 2 regular card deck

Dealer must hit soft 17

Double Down one any two cards

Double down after split

Split 3 times to make 4 hands

Aces can only be split once

Only one card to split aces

Unlike 10 value cards can be split

A split ace and a 10 counts as 21 and not Blackjack

Super Fun 21 - One of the most popular games in the casino this blackjack variant is a lot more exciting than the traditional 21 game since its rules are more “relaxed” giving the player a better edge.
Rules:

This is an American Hole card game.

Played with one regular card deck.

Dealer must hit on soft 17.

Dealer peeks on 10 value cards and aces.

You can re-split up to three times to make four hands.

You can double down on any number of cards, even after splitting pairs.

You can surrender half the bet, even after hitting, splitting or doubling down.

Double down rescue.

Double down after split.

You can draw and double down to split aces.

Aces can be re-split.

Unlike 10 value cards can be split.

Your Blackjack beats dealer blackjack.

Blackjack in diamonds pays 2-1.

Blackjack in other suits pays even money.

Six or more cards totaling 20 or less, except after doubling down, always wins.

Five or more cards which have a value of 21, except after doubling down, instantly pays 2-1.

Some tips for the special game:

Surrendering. Don’t surrender unless you’ve got four or more cards, with 15 against an Ace or 16 against a 10 or Ace. The only exception is when you’ve got a hard 17 against an Ace, when surrender is also recommended.

Doubling down. Double on 10 or 11 against all up cards or 9 against 2 through 6. When doubling down, it’s advisable to surrender with 16 or below if the dealer has an 8, 9, 10 or Ace, and to surrender with 17 if the dealer has an Ace. Exceptions to this rule are a three-card 9 against 2; a four-card 9 against 3 or 4; a three-card 10 against 10; a four-card 10 against all up cards and a four-card 11 against all up cards.

NOTE:
For ALL PROGRESSIVE BLACKJACK GAMES, if you win the hand, you will get back your original bet plus the same amount in profit. A hand that consists of an Ace and any 10-value card is called a natural twenty-one, or a natural Blackjack (except in the case of a Split hand - see details above). If you win with a natural Multi-Hand Blackjack, you will be paid off at three-to-two odds, which means you get your original bet back plus 150% profit. (So if you bet $50 and win with a natural twenty-one, you get $50 (your bet) plus $75 (your bet plus half of your bet), which totals to $125.
For ALL BLACKJACK GAMES, individual tables may have a higher minimum bet and a lower maximum bet than indicated betting limits. Limits may be adjusted but only within the range given for each game.

Now that you know the cool blackjack games Global Player has to offer it’s time for the casino and other blackjack game features.

Joining Rules
Signing up for Global Player Casino means having access to all the games they currently offer. This means that aside from blackjack you can also play roulette, slots, and video poker. Right now Global Casino doesn’t offer poker but their website indicates that they’ll be offering it pretty soon.

You do not really have to join or sign up at Global Player Casino to play any of its games. All you need to do is download their software, install it, and play to your hearts content FOR FREE. Unlike most casinos where free plays are limited to several games Global Player allows guests to play ALL of its games. All you need to do is click on the GUEST GAMES and press play. If you want to play for real money that is the only time you will need to sign up and open an account. Opening an account is just the usual easy process of filling out a form. Deposits can be made also the usual way by clicking the CASHIER button and choosing your payment method as well as filling out required details.

Fees
Unlike Get21 there are no joining fees for playing blackjack in Global Player since most of the blackjack games played here are not tournaments. Hence the casino makes money from your losses. Of course even if Global Casino needs you to lose to make a profit you can be sure of the fairness of the software even if they are a proprietary casino and do not use the software of one of the big software providers. They are one of the really good quality casinos that care about their customers and their own reputation as well.

Global Player Casino offers Multi-player Blackjack Tournaments from time-to-time. Entry Fees vary depending on the tournament type. For Sit and Go Duel Tournaments entry fees can be $10.50, $21, or $52. Since this is a duel type tournament you leave with the pot minus the house’s take, which is the actually equal to the leftover when you round of the figures. For their 1 on 1 tournaments Entry fee is $5 and the first place winner gets the entire prize pool less $20. The $20 is distributed among the 2nd to 4th place winners. Of course since the tournaments are special events the tournament type and rules vary and so do the entry fees.

Withdrawals
Global Player Casino is known for good service, which of course includes prompt cash outs. You won’t have any problems withdrawing money from your account. Note that just like in all online casinos all your winnings from the different games are pooled into just one account. You don’t have to worry about keeping track of all your winnings and losses though because you can always check your account statement online.

Get21 - Online Blackjack Tournaments

Now that you know just how much (in terms of game variety) Get21 has to offer I’m going to focus on the other features.

Joining Rules

New Players
Joining a tournament is very easy whether playing in Play Money Mode or Real Money Mode. You will need to give a bit more personal information if you register for Real Money Mode and would of course need to deposit to your account. After the registering joining a tournament is as breeze. You just need to pick whether you want a Quick Game, Sit and Go, or a Scheduled Game. You also choose whether you want play in a Single Table or Multi-Table Tournament. Choose the table you want to join in the list and click on Join a Table then on the Register Button. If playing in Real Money Mode you will need to check the amount box to finally join the game and wait for it to start.

Old Players
All you need to do is log-in go to the lobby choose your table and you know the rest.

Fees
The amount you need to pay will be determined by the joining fee which includes the Buy-In and the Entry Fee. The Buy-In goes to the pot. The Buy-In ranges from $0.10 to $100. Single table tournament winners get to keep the entire pot while multi-table winners split the pot with amounts varying for each winner depending on the tournament type.

The Entry Fee is kept by the house. This is hot Get21 earns money, which means that whether you win or lose they make money. This kind of profit scheme ensures that Get21 offers a fair game since they don’t need to see players lose just to make money. The Entry Fee is generally 10% of the Buy-In.

Payouts
As mentioned earlier single table winners get the entire prize pool. For multi-table winners the prize pool is split depending on the number of players as well as the place you finish. The greater the number of players the bigger the prize pool is(except for special tournaments where the prize is fixed and guaranteed). A greater number of players also means more winners with as many as 27 winners getting a share of the pot for games with 154 or mor players participating.

Bonuses/Promotions
Like regular casinos Get21 has a welcome and referral bonus. They also hold regular promotions usually as part of the Special Scheduled Tournaments. The favorite is of course the guaranteed prize pool tournament.

The Pros
An interesting and very helpful feature Get21 has for its players are the articles or tips from real Pros like David Matthews, Bill Ricardi, Johnny Kampis, and Allen Taylor.

Customer Support
Customer Support is a non-issue at Get21. Though they do not offer live chat you can eamil them or call them at their phone hotlines. Amazingly Get21 has individual phone numbers for 29 countries, which shows how much they value their international customers by lumping them together.

When Get21 started two years ago the idea of having blackjack tournaments poker-style was still a new one. What Get21 had to offer was truly revolutionary. Nowadays blackjack tournaments are all the rage with new variations and rules cropping up. When it comes to blackjack tournaments online Get21 still rules.

Unlike most casinos that offer only blackjack as one of its many casino games Get21 has one and only one game to offer - tournament blackjack. However you won’t get bored playing here because it offers a variety of tournaments.

There are basically two kinds of tournaments: the Single Table Tournaments and the Multi-Table Tournaments. Single Table tournaments have three kinds of tournaments, which are:

Scheduled Tournaments - Scheduled tournaments work like the Multi-table Sit & Go Tournament except that it has no pre-set number of players so that there is no limit on the number of players that can join. Players are seated at tables randomlyand the tournament begins at a scheduled time that is announced in the Lobby.

Special Scheduled Tournaments - The special tournaments are essentially the same as Scheduled Tournaments except that you can expect really big prizes here. Prizes of course vary from time to time in terms of the amount of cash prize or the kind of prize. You can also be sure to get stiffer competition in tournaments like this.
