Everyone knows that the Ace card is the most desired card to have when a player find himself playing the game of blackjack. For upfront dealt cards, the wish that the second card would be a face card will surely be on their minds. The reason behind this is of course it would mean automatic winnings and no more need to worry about hitting and dealing of cards with the dealer and the other opponents on the table.

But in some scenarios, low card valued numbers may turn out, but the choices do not stop there. Blackjack players can have the option to call it an eleven or a one, depending on the next card that comes their way. The idea is still the same, try to have a total of twenty one with the cards on hand to be safe from losing everything in that dealt session. The consolation there is that they have wider choices because of the existence of Aces on their hand.

The flow of the game can go either way. Usually the advantage of Aces is the flexibility of having them that carries two optional values. However, it remains that players still have to do the necessary to be able to achieve the goal of getting the maximum available value through dealt cards. This can only be done through hits as long as they stay away from the high cards such as the tens and the face cards which will ruin the chances and limit options for sure.

The downside of a player having simultaneous Aces is the fact that the game would be harder as it progresses. The reason behind this is the fact that blackjack hits would become thinner as they go along until there is a new stack of cards to be dealt once a session has reached the last card of the rack. Thus, not all players are fond of using up all the aces although the game becomes a whole lot interesting at that point.

Whatever happens, dealing with the Aces is important in the game of blackjack. Many would want an instant Ace and face card to get instant winnings. However, no one can foretell how the game would turn out, especially if the game takes a turn on the different aspect of cards being dealt. Regardless, the matter of skill comes into play. The basics of blackjack will surely come into play and the enthusiastic blackjack players just have to deal with it from thereon.

One thing about blackjack is being wise. Many rely on intuition while others would want to play on the conservative side. This usually stems once the dealer shows his first card. With only two cards in the initial dealing, the chances of the next card being a high card or a face card is really something that would make a player think. The wiser ones would fold. But the others would simply want a hit to maximize their totals just in case the other card of the dealer may not be what it is.

Probabilities grace the game of blackjack and this is a given in any session of the game. Many would dare to defy the odds and some have won from these high risk decisions. But in the event of an Ace being shown, many would not take the risk and simply fold to save the humiliation and losses that they would readily incur once the faces of their chances of winning are slowly getting dimmer.

Some players would not fold for the manner that they believe they can still pull it off. Blackjack may be a simple card game, but it is also something that needs wise decisions. It is more than relying on plain intuition. It is about reading the cards and tracking the deck as well to see what probabilities and stakes they would have should they continue playing the game.

Folding is not an act of cowardice as some players would often refer to it. It is about being wise to your opponent in times where one would find himself in the doldrums of probable defeat. There is more to the game than being daring. It is also looking at your winnings and checking if you are ready to lose it all just in case people have trouble deciding when to stop.

Two cards, one winner. A player can simply get his share through a lucky pick of the cards. However, some people just need to wise up at times since they may find themselves losing more than what they have actually won. Blackjack is simple if a person looks at it. Even the teens can take a crack at it. However, all these things change once people are on a different setting such as casinos and online casino games. There is a disparity of probabilities and people should know how to deal with them as well.

In blackjack, practicing and training in the best possible ways from available software and sites will be the key towards developing future good blackjack players. While there are a lot of sites that offer free games where there is no actual money involved, sites such as Hit or Stand will provide various tutorials and tips to help improve player strategies. Through the technology of flash developed interactive programs, visitors can try their hand in the game and even get tips on how to further improve their blackjack decision making and skills.

Technically, players who visit the site may find their strategies unorthodox and it would not be surprising if the trial program at Hit or Stand may not totally agree with the entire manner of play. While they are not required to be always leaned on, the fact that people can have an idea of what approach they may possibly be doing wrong is something that they should take into consideration if and when they do play the game in actual blackjack games.

No one can tell a player what to do. All that a blackjack enthusiast can do is look at the possibilities and the rest would be up to him. In most cases, they would not immediately adapt the learned strategies. People will still vouch for their own style and slowly integrate their new found style from thereon. The implementation of new approaches and strategies in card games is not easy. They need careful deliberation and getting used to as well. It is not an overnight success to which anyone can immediately experience enhanced improvement from them.

Taking their time and practicing in depth with the free games using supposed dummy bets which take the place of actual bets in real games will provide a better overview. In the Hit and Stand Trainer, decisions and moves made will have tips as well. Tips on potential risky moves that may force a player to bust against the dealer will be shown. This is the best way to analyze the approach towards the game. A card for a card shown will be something that limits the areas that need to be addressed in such situations.

Blackjack players are not expected to adjust their approach based on the trainer’s advice. For sure, the mental attitude of seasoned blackjack players that they still know the best moves can never be taken out of them. But as for the Hit and Stand Trainer module, they are simply there to help beginners and people who seek improvements to their game. It is not a module where blackjack players need to listen to. They are entirely flexible and open.

For most people who love to play Blackjack, having an Ace will always put them at an advantage for most parts of their game. As we all know, there is a 50% chance that he can achieve a Blackjack and pocket all the earnings, assuming of course that the next card is a face card. With an Ace immediately showing, this is sure to bring excitement when trying to see what the other card is all about.

Aces of any face will be something that addicted Blackjack players would always look for. It is something that is rare. It must be remembered that there are only four aces in a set of dealt cards. Hence it would be best to play the game analytically, since the number of Blackjacks is only 4 times a possibility in every session.

Outside of this, a player needs to work and approach the game to reach the maximum total of 21 per card. Knowing when to Hit and Stand is something that they have to be very careful off. There should be no pressure at all, but considering the wagers and bets placed, people would do well to play in their minds the remaining possible combinations and cards they can get from each deal.

Simple as it may seem, Blackjack is something that is easier to understand than other games such as Poker. It does not need specific combinations which may be overlooked at some point. Just get a total of 21 from any card combination without going over and that is all there is to the game of Blackjack. Simple but also relying on chances as well since dealt cards can never be assessed primarily.

There are good Blackjack players in the world who have mastered this art as well. Kevin Blackwood, Andy Bloch and Erica Schoenberg are among the notable names in this professionally taken card game that has taken a backseat from world poker tournaments. However, these players also trace their routes from being good poker players. Hence they are considered used to such tournaments and the pressure included therein.

Together they are part of the world renowned professional card players. While they can be seen in the usual Poker tournaments, this should not be used as a means of considering them from doing badly in Blackjack tournaments. Chances are they are at an advantage since they know what winning is already all about.

Vegas Strip Blackjack - Like in Vegas Downtown Blackjack you can play the Single-Hand or the Multi-hand version of the game. However, the strategy for this game is again different if only because four deck of cards are used. The outcome for each number of hands you choose to use is affected by the fewer number of decks used.

Rules:

Vegas Strip is an American Hole Card Game

Dealer peeks on 10 and Ace Cards

Played with 4 regular decks

Double down on any two cards

Double down after split

Split 3 times to make 4 hands

Aces can only be split once

Only one card to split Aces

A Split Ace and a 10 is 21 and not BJ

Unlike 10 value cards can be split

Spanish 21 Blackjack - Also offered by Global Player Casino, this game is very unique and exciting. The Spanish deck is a deck with only 48 cards instead of the usual 52 (All 10s are removed). The deck used is not the only thing that makes this game unique but the rules as well so make sure you understand the rules listed below before playing the game. You would also do well to peek at the basic strategy posted in Spin Palace’s website since the strategy for Spanish is also very different from that of other blackjack games.

Rules:

Spanish 21 is an American Hole Card Game

Dealer peeks on 10 and Ace Cards

Played with 8 Spanish decks of cards.

Dealer must hit on soft 17

Player BJ Beats Dealer BJ

Player 21 Beats Dealer 21

Late Surrender

Double down on any number of cards

Re-Double down once

Surrender after doubling down

Double down after split

Split 3 times to make 4 hands

Aces can be re-split

Draw and double down to split Aces

Unlike 10 value cards can be split

Payoffs:

5 card 21 pays 3:2

6 card 21 pays 2:1

7 or more card 21 pays 3:1

6-7-8 or 7-7-7 mixed suit pays 3:2

6-7-8 or 7-7-7 of same suit pays 2:1

6-7-8 or 7-7-7 of spades pays 3:1

Suited 7-7-7 when dealer has 7 face up pays 50:1

Double Exposure Blackjack - A game that’s the same as the basic blackjack game except for a very nice twist - dealer’s hands are dealt face up.
Rules:

Both Dealers Cards are dealt Face Up

Played with 8 regular decks

Dealer must hit on soft 17

Dealer wins all ties except for tied BJ

Player BJ pays even money

Double down after split

Split 3 times to make 4 hands

Aces can be re-split

Spin Palace Casino says that Blackjack is probably the only game where you can beat the house, and this is true. If you want to know more about blackjack (not just the games that Spin Palace Casino has, but blackjack in general) then Spin Palace Casino will give you an introduction, a history of the game, the basic rules of the game, strategy tables, and of course the specific rules for each game they offer. If you are looking for a wide variety of Blackjack games Spin Palace Casino is the online casino to go since it has ALL major blackjack variants available.

Below are the blackjack games available at Spin Palace Casino called their Gold Series. Note that all information about the games were lifted from their website.

Vegas Downtown Blackjack - Available in two versions: Single-Hand Vegas Downtown Blackjack and Multi-Hand Vegas Downtown Blackjack. They share the same basic rules and differ only in the number of hands you can play. However, even if that is the only rule that differs the strategy is very different and depends on the number of hands you choose to play.

Rules:

This is an American Hole Card Game

Dealer peeks on 10 value cards and aces

Played with 2 regular card deck

Dealer must hit soft 17

Double Down one any two cards

Double down after split

Split 3 times to make 4 hands

Aces can only be split once

Only one card to split aces

Unlike 10 value cards can be split

A split ace and a 10 counts as 21 and not Blackjack

Super Fun 21 - One of the most popular games in the casino this blackjack variant is a lot more exciting than the traditional 21 game since its rules are more “relaxed” giving the player a better edge.
Rules:

This is an American Hole card game.

Played with one regular card deck.

Dealer must hit on soft 17.

Dealer peeks on 10 value cards and aces.

You can re-split up to three times to make four hands.

You can double down on any number of cards, even after splitting pairs.

You can surrender half the bet, even after hitting, splitting or doubling down.

Double down rescue.

Double down after split.

You can draw and double down to split aces.

Aces can be re-split.

Unlike 10 value cards can be split.

Your Blackjack beats dealer blackjack.

Blackjack in diamonds pays 2-1.

Blackjack in other suits pays even money.

Six or more cards totaling 20 or less, except after doubling down, always wins.

Five or more cards which have a value of 21, except after doubling down, instantly pays 2-1.

Some tips for the special game:

Surrendering. Don’t surrender unless you’ve got four or more cards, with 15 against an Ace or 16 against a 10 or Ace. The only exception is when you’ve got a hard 17 against an Ace, when surrender is also recommended.

Doubling down. Double on 10 or 11 against all up cards or 9 against 2 through 6. When doubling down, it’s advisable to surrender with 16 or below if the dealer has an 8, 9, 10 or Ace, and to surrender with 17 if the dealer has an Ace. Exceptions to this rule are a three-card 9 against 2; a four-card 9 against 3 or 4; a three-card 10 against 10; a four-card 10 against all up cards and a four-card 11 against all up cards.

Bonuses/Promotions

Intercasino has great bonuses and promotion although they are not all geared just for blackjack players. Some promotions and bonuses can be availed by ALL real money players regardless of the game you play, while some are game-specific.

Some of their ongoing bonuses and promotion include:

Lifetime/Welcome Bonus - A special bonus for this month (an the month has almost ended…so get the bonus before it’s gone!). Players, both old and new, can get a free $100 bonus.

Where’s Ryan H? - This one is really fun. Intercasino manager, Ryan Hartley, goes around visiting multi-player tables each weekend. This is multi-player tables for different games…so you don’t really know which one he’ll be visiting. The lucky player(s) he meets gets cash prizes from him. So on weekend I suggest that you definitely play Multi-Player Blackjack instead of the other blackjack games.

Tournaments Royale - You can play tournament blackjack at Intercasino during their special events. Tournaments Royale also feature tournaments of other casino games so make sure you join a blackjack tournament and not some other game. Check the website for monthly schedule.

Competition Kings - For top wagerers only. You can get the chance to be crowned Intercasino King or Queen.

Monday Madness! - Each Monday Intercasino has some surprise promotion for their players. So log in every Monday to see if there’s one waiting for blackjack players.

$20 Question - Played every Thursday, 10 randomly chosen players are given 20 free credits.

Inter Challenge - This month the Inter Challenge was and will be held on the 14th and the 28th. All you need to do is wager $200 on the game of the day and you’ll get an extra 25 credits whether you win or lose. Of course you’ll also need to answer the Trivia. If you miss the upcoming Inter Challenge you can always wait for the one scheduled next month.

Cashback Club - Intercasino’s loyalty program. For more details visit the Intercasino website. For now all you need to know is that you get points EACH TIME you place a wager of $10.

Jackpots - No need to explain. Jackpots for winning the jackpot in ANY game.

Customer Service
Very good customer service. Their Help page contains a link to other useful pages like the Getting Started (for newbies), FAQs, Game Rules (with Strategy Tables to be found in many games), Contact Us (for those who need customer support), Bug Report, and My Promotions. Customer support includes a 24/7 email and phone support. Email addresses vary for different concerns and there are international numbers for people from all over the world to call. Most numbers given are toll free except for some that start with 00 357. Check the website for the number to call from your country.

They also have a page about Arbitration, System Requirements, and Responsible Gaming. An Arbitration page is a very rare thing to see in an online casino. Arbitration for Intercasino is provided by Casinomeister.

Although Intercasino is already very popular and you will see many reviews about it like the reviews in Bettingbots about Intercasino’s Video Poker and also it’s Interpoker, which is of course Intercasino’s poker room, I will still touch on some aspects of Intercasino just like in Global Player Casino.

Joining Rules

At Intercasino you can play blackjack through their downloadable and no-download version. When playing the downloadable version you can also choose to join as a practicing player or a player who plays for real money. After downloading and installing the game on your computer all you need to do is choose the mode you want to play in. For practice mode all you need to do is enter your desired username and start playing. For real play mode you need a few more steps to be able to join for the first time. Of course old timers need not register and can simply log-in. To register you will need to give your name, address and date of birth before you can start playing. You will also need to choose your username and password.

For the no-download version you will need to of course read and agree with the license agreement, fill in the required information (pretty much the same as for real players of the downloadable version), log-in and play.

By joining Intercasino you can play at ANY of their available games, including blackjack of course. So if you already have an Intercasino account you don’t need to make a new one to play Blackjack.

Fees

Like in Global Player Casino, Intercasino does not charge a joining fee for playing blackjack. Players in Practice Mode obviously never need to pay any real money, though they never earn real money as well. Real Money players on the other hand simply need to bet the minimum bet of each table, which is $2 for most blackjack games. Single-deck blackjack requires a minimum bet (ante) of $25. If you lose your bet, then Intercasino gerts your money. If you win then they you earn and they lose money. Intercasino makes their profit from you losses. There is no commission levied by Intercasino for the bets you win.

Withdrawals

Withdrawals are pretty easy and fast in Intercasino. All of their withdrawals are secured by the ECash Direct (UK) Ltd security system so that you don’t need to worry about security. All you need to do is visit the Cashier and click withdrawal and choose the amount you need to withdraw as well as your banking option. If you are not sure which banking option will be best for you Intercasino not only lists the banking options (both for deposit and withdrawals) but also the withdrawal procedures for each as well as the processing conditions, withdrawal limits, and a guide on following up your transactions. All the information on the banking options can be found on the Banking link at the menu on the left of the website.

Betting Limits:

Multi-Player Progressive Blackjack

8 52-card decks are used

The deck is re-shuffled after approximately one-third of the shoe (the 8 decks of cards) has been dealt.

Dealer stands on all 17’s

Doubling after splitting allowed

No re-splitting of cards allowed

No surrender

Only one additional card allowed on each Ace when splitting a pair of Aces

Payoff: Same as Multi-Hand Progressive Blackjack including the Bonus Payouts.
Betting Limits:

$2 minimum bet

$2,500 maximum bet.

Single-Deck Blackjack
Rules:

One 52-card deck is used

The deck is re-shuffled after each hand

Dealer draws to soft 17’s and stands on hard 17’s

Doubling after splitting allowed

Only one additional card allowed on each Ace when splitting a pair of Aces

Payoff:

Blackjack 3 to 2
Insurance 2 to 1

Betting Limits:

$25 minimum bet

$2,500 maximum bet.

NOTE:
For ALL PROGRESSIVE BLACKJACK GAMES, if you win the hand, you will get back your original bet plus the same amount in profit. A hand that consists of an Ace and any 10-value card is called a natural twenty-one, or a natural Blackjack (except in the case of a Split hand - see details above). If you win with a natural Multi-Hand Blackjack, you will be paid off at three-to-two odds, which means you get your original bet back plus 150% profit. (So if you bet $50 and win with a natural twenty-one, you get $50 (your bet) plus $75 (your bet plus half of your bet), which totals to $125.
For ALL BLACKJACK GAMES, individual tables may have a higher minimum bet and a lower maximum bet than indicated betting limits. Limits may be adjusted but only within the range given for each game.
